Important Information About Importing To Zimbabwe

  • IMPORT REGULATIONSThere is no age restriction on importing a Japanese vehicle in Zimbabwe. The vehicle must be right-hand drive, with the exception of ambulances and fire engines.

    • Residence Permit
    • Import license
    • Registration document
    • Invoice
    • Insurance document
  • TRANSPORTATIONYour vehicle will be shipped to Port of Dar-es-Salam or Durban Port, South Africa. The shipment takes approximately 3-4 weeks.
  • Road inspection testNo mandatory inspection is required for importing the vehicle in Zimbabwe.

  • For light passenger vehicles, station wagons: 25%-40%
